Palm Desert Veterans Day Eve Celebration at McCallum Theatre Set for November 10

PALM DESERT, Riverside County — The City of Palm Desert and McCallum Theatre are planning a Veterans Day Eve Celebration on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, to recognize Coachella Valley residents who have served in the military.

According to the city, a 5:30 p.m. welcome gathering on the theatre plaza will include food, activities and an ice-cream social. At 7 p.m., the program moves inside McCallum Theatre for a concert by The Hit Men, with a tribute to local veterans during the evening.

Who will be recognized?

Earlier in the year, Palm Desert sought nominations from community members for veterans whose service, leadership or local contributions deserved recognition. That nomination window had a September 15 deadline; it is not open for new submissions on the basis of this announcement.

The concert is described as a 90-minute classic-rock program featuring musicians with professional touring and recording histories. Specific honorees, attendance requirements, available tickets and seating accommodations should be confirmed with McCallum Theatre before traveling.

The venue is located at 73000 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert. The city’s announcement describes an upcoming observance, not an event already held.
